Tour de Tambo is a self-guided cycling event along the Tambo river in East Gippsland. It is a part of the East Gippsland Festival.
This ride is on the Brabralung lands of the Gunaikurnai nation. Where the rivers and valleys are more accessible, they were used as Aboriginal trails. You'll hear the gurgling and rippling of water making its way over the rocks and through the riverside foliage of wattles, eucalypts, and other native species. The Tambo River is one of the longest rivers in the East Gippsland drainage basin. The landscape is relatively open rolling hills used for farming, surrounded by a horizon of incredible high country scenery in the distance.
All children under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the ride.
