Gippsland Opera proudly present Opera by the Lakes at Nyerimilang Heritage Park.
Nyerimilang is a beautiful National Park with stunning views over the largest lake system in the Southern Hemisphere set in a natural amphitheatre.
International and Opera Australia singers performing at this event include:
- Tenor Shanul Sharma with starring roles for Opera Australia and very in-demand internationally
- Coratura soprano Georgia Wilkinson currently singing the role of Christine in Phantom of the Opera in London's West End
- Baritone Nathan Lay - the singing voice in 'Falling For Figaro' the film starring Joanna Lumley
- Mezzo soprano Dimity Shepherd who is well known internationally and with Opera Australia
- Lyric soprano Kate Amos who has had many major roles with Vic Opera and Opera Australia
- Baritone and up and coming music theatre star Wil Jones
- Accompanist David McNicol - David accompanies the singers for the prestigious 'Sun Aria' in this magic line up with Sun Aria winners!
