Lost in the Groove is a free community music fiesta where the audience are the participants!
Happening in different Easts Gippsland towns over the long weekend in March, the Fiesta will be in Orbost on Saturday March 12.
Enjoy free singing and instrumental workshops at the Orbost Exhibition Centre, and then wind down (or up!) in the evening with a jam session at Sailors Grave Brewing.
Lyndal Chambers and Brian ‘Strat” Strating are this year’s guest musicians, making the magic happen. With over thirty years of experience as multi-instrumentalists, singers and songwriters, Strat and Lyndal have carved a niche as top community musicians. They’ve got the colours, they’ve got the moves, they’ve got the sounds and they’ve got the experience to get everyone involved!
Kids, enjoy a free singing session at 2:00pm; players and singers of all ages are invited to join the Sing and Strum Ensemble at 3:00pm. All instruments welcome, all levels of experience welcome.
Be part of the colourful street band from 4:00pm and bring a smile to the town! No bookings necessary.
Finish the day at Orbost's iconic Sailor's Grave Brewing, with food, drink and an Irish-style jam session.
