The Buchan Munji (Buchan Caves Reserve) will reopen to visitors ahead of the Easter long weekend following months of recovery works to safely restore the park following major flooding that hit the area on Boxing Day. The reserve will open on Tuesday 26 March 2024.

From 12 September to 21 October, Gippsland Women’s Health (GWH) will be embarking on a roadshow throughout Gippsland. The GWH team will spend one week in each region - starting in Omeo - to connect with women and understand first-hand what it is they need to support their safety, health and wellbeing.

This will be an opportunity for GWH to reconnect and showcase their work throughout Gippsland to advocate for improved access to health services including quality sexual and reproductive health information, eliminating violence against women and closing the gap on gender inequality.

This is also an opportunity for the community to participate in discussions and events in each major town, as well as popping up in smaller towns to allow greater access to women living in remote areas.

Roadshow program can be accessed via the website.
