The Buchan Munji (Buchan Caves Reserve) will reopen to visitors ahead of the Easter long weekend following months of recovery works to safely restore the park following major flooding that hit the area on Boxing Day. The reserve will open on Tuesday 26 March 2024.

A long weekend of caravan, RV and camping on the idyllic Omeo Golf Course beside Livingstone Creek. Day visitors are welcomed and get free parking.

Bands and singers in the evenings, fireworks too. Market stalls, golf putting and hole-in-one competitions. Fishing competitions in the trout-stocked water hazard . Kids entertainments including jumping castle. Sheep shearing demonstrations will be fun to watch.

Coffee and food vans on site. BBQ meals under the club house awning outside to comply with COVID rules. Beer wine mixed and soft drinks will be available from the well-stocked bar.

A tag-along tour of seldom seen Omeo Region back roads is planned for the Monday.

Extra amenities including hot showers are set. All patrons need to get a wrist band on entry so COVID number restrictions are met

The Golf Course is only 2km from Omeo CBD where there are two pubs, fully stocked supermarket, post office, 24 hour fuel, hardware, a visitor centre, cafes, bakery, bike shop, fishing and outdoor shop, gallery with resident artist, hospital and more. Victoria's best MTB Pump & Skills track is right in town too, adjacent to the natural swimming hole.

For pre and post Muster stays there is a beautiful caravan park beside Livingstone Creek, motels, hotels and BnBs.
