The Forge Theatre and Arts Hub is East Gippsland's Performing Arts Centre, presenting a curated program of live theatre performances of the best of professional touring productions and locally produced shows.
It showcases performances to suit all tastes, from drama, comedy, music, children’s theatre, dance, physical theatre and musicals.
The Forge Theatre is a Proscenium Arch Theatre with a thrust forestage as well as an orchestra pit and a seating capacity for 362 patrons. The venue is most suited to music and drama performances as well as seminars and conferences. The auditorium also regularly hosts local dance school and musical theatre performances.
The McKean Room is a small multi-purpose carpeted room with black curtained windows and dimmable lighting. The room is suitable for meetings, presentations, workshops, training sessions, small conferences as well as drama and music classes.
Key venue features include: professionally trained and experienced staff; professional quality lighting, audio and data projection equipment; ample free on-site parking and wheelchair accessibility.
The Brabuwooloong Gallery is in the main foyer of the Forge Theatre and it exhibits a range of East Gippsland artists year-round.
