Lakes Entrance

Bream and Pinkies are being caught at the foot bridge, best bait being prawn, mackerel are also about. Offshore at six-mile reef snapper are about, gummies and flathead are being caught closer to the beach. Water temperature is around 18 degrees.

Lake Tyers

The top end of the lake at Nowa Nowa is producing flathead, a 97cm flathead was landed. Bream and trevally can be found at The Glasshouse, Mill Point and the channel markers on soft plastics and prawn.

Mitchell River

No report due to the recent heavy rain which has turned the water all muddy but try the mouth of the river.

Tambo River

No report due to the recent heavy rain causing muddy waters.

Nicholson

No report due to the recent heavy rain causing muddy waters.

Metung

No report due to the recent heavy rain.

Paynesville

No report due to the recent heavy rain.

Holland’s Landing

No report due to the recent heavy rain causing muddy waters.

Marlo

Bemm River

The channel and the lake are the best spots for bream using local prawn, hard body lures and soft plastics.

Tamboon Inlet

No report due to the recent heavy rain.

Mallacoota

Waters are a bit muddy, but the narrows and the bottom lake are the best spots for bream and flathead using prawn.

Omeo High Country

The Big River, Cobungra and the Livingstone River are the best spots for trout using fly patterns and drifting earth worm.
