Summer Tackers Learn to Sail Program - Gippsland Lakes Yacht Club
Bring your 7 – 14-year old’s along to learn to sail with our experienced team.
GLYC is a Tackers endorsed Discover Sailing Centre. Each Spring, Summer and Autumn School Holidays, we have our own instructors along with Australian Sailing instructors come to GLYC to run learn-to-sail programs for both kids aged 7-12 (in the club’s Ozi Optis) and for Teens / Adults (in the club’s Pacers). School Holiday Program places are limited, so we recommend completing your registration early. Unfortunately Gippsland Lakes Yacht Club cannot run any school holiday programs without a sufficient quota to make it financially viable.

- Tackers 3: ‘Sailing Fast and Get into Racing’ – for those who have completed Tackers 2, and focuses on advanced sailing skills through games and adventures on the water. Cost $320.00.
