Bairnsdale Mothers Day Classic is back for another year. There is still time to register and be involved.
EVENT INFORMATION
Where: Howitt Park pump track, Bairnsdale
When: Sunday 14th May, 2023
Distances and times:
- 9.00am - Run 10km
- 9.00am - Run 5km
- 9.00am - Walk 5km

The 10km run and 5km walk/ run starts at the Howitt Park pump track on the north side of Howitt Park. The course runs along the north side of the Mitchell River towards the Lind Bridge. At the Lind Bridge the 5km runners and walkers will turn around and return to the start point, 10km runners will continue over the bridge and run along the south side of the river to Picnic Point, and return along the course.
5KM
Runners and walkers completing the 5km course will go to the Lind Bridge and back to the starting point.
10KM
Runners completing the 10km course will cross over the Lind Bridge and continue along the south side of the river towards Picnic Point. At the 5km mark they will turn around and return to the starting point.
Getting there & parking
Parking is available at the Howitt Park adjacent to the start and finish line.

The Check-in area
Check- in is adjacent to the start line under the pink marquee.
Toilets
Male and female toilets are located in the neighbouring Howitt Park playground at the top of the hill next to the yellow slide.
Fundraising
On the day you'll be able to donate funds via the collection tins or via the SMS donation number (simply text MDC 0488 849 632).
First aid
All MDC Local Events will have a qualified first aid officer on site.
Food & drink
A coffee van will be present at the event.
Entertainment
Prizes for best dressed, raffle & music.
Dogs
Please make sure your dogs are well behaved and on a lead.
Accessibility
Wheelchair and pram friendly.
