The Metung Business and Tourism Association are excited to showcase an evening of family entertainment this Friday, 6 January.

This FRIYAY!!!! Get ready for a fantastic afternoon & evening of LIVE entertainment at Metung.

From 5pm on the Village Green we will have Wacky Wombat Entertainment plus jumping castles & face painting.

From 6pm we have the awesome The Electric Empire rocking out on stage and from 8pm Nathan “Whippy” Griggs gets cracking with his amazing whip cracking show!

It's FREE, it's FUN, all we ask is that you bring some cash to donate when Whippy passes his hat around!!!

With takeaway food available from our street food shops AND a little late night shopping at Seven Sundays the whole family is bound to have a brilliant night. 


If you haven't heard before.....Nathan “Whippy” Griggs is not only Australia's number 1 whip cracking entertainer, he is a five time whip cracking Guinness World Record holder!

Four times for fastest records with both one and two hands, 697 cracks in a minute two whips, 359 cracks in a minute 1 whip and for the longest whip in the world cracking a whip over 100m long.

When it comes to whips you will not find a more inspiring and passionate man. Nathan is a new breed of Australian whip cracker, and he’s taking the world by storm.
