Barry Sheene Tribute Ride

The 18th edition of the Barry Sheene Tribute Ride will depart Bairnsdale on Thursday, 13 October, with participants riding from Bairnsdale to the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit.

In honour of Barry Sheene, who lost his battle with cancer in 2003, the 270-kilometre charity ride winds through Gippsland’s countryside, with riders visiting Morwell and San Remo before taking part in a lap of the scintillating Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit.

Over 9,000 participants have completed the ride in its history, coming far and wide from all corners of Australia and beyond.

Bairnsdale Motor Expo

If you love things that go vrooom vrooom but can’t go on the Barry Sheene Tribute Ride, no worries.

The Bairnsdale Motor Expo is on Friday, 14 October from 5 pm.

Come along to the Water Tower in the main street and check out a great range of hot-rods, motorbikes, vintage cars and more.
