Lake fishing, ocean fishing, boat fishing, surf fishing (any fishing!) and if you don’t happen to catch a feed, then Lakes Entrance has commercial fishing. Buy your fish and seafood direct from the fishing trawlers. You cannot get any fresher than that!
Watch the kids gaze at the shell museum, climb the lakeside playground and keep under par at one of the many mini golf courses. Learn about the wooden sculptures which lie alongside the Esplanade Walking Track and challenge the family to a paddle boat race. Take a seat at one of the waterfront cafes and watch over the fleet of colourful fishing boats, Join a guided boat tour, paddle board, kayak or Mountain bike tour or spend time splashing around in newly opened Lakes Entrance Aqua Park, a must visit for Summer. Admire the coastal scenery from the Kalimna lookout and stroll across the footbridge from the foreshore promenade to see the vast expanse of the Ninety Mile Beach.
