Accredited by Quality Tourism Australia, McMillans of Metung Coastal Resort is an award-winning resort offering guests the ultimate relaxing holiday accommodation in a picturesque location with beautiful views over Bancroft Bay.

Established in 1980 by John and Kaye McMillan and officially opened in 1981 by iconic Australian singing legend Slim Dusty, McMillans of Metung Coastal Resort started with 11 cottages. The business was sold and expanded to include 20 cabins and spa villa holiday rentals.

The resort is renowned as an idyllic holiday destination with superbly appointed modern and comfortable cottages and spa villas, offering the ultimate in privacy and tranquillity. Set on eight acres of manicured grounds and giant eucalypt trees. Very popular with children and adults is the kid's play equipment area, full-size artificial grass tennis court (rackets and balls provided), games room with video games, air hockey, table tennis and pool table, to name a few. In the warmer months, our two swimming pools (one for adults and one for children) provide a great way to stay refreshed or renowned for their relaxing and detoxifying qualities; you may choose to use our sauna.

Cancellation Policy

The guest is allowed to modify/cancel the reservation by email:
1. At least 5 days prior to the arrival date - no cancellation fees apply and a refund of the total amount shall be granted.
2. No refunds after 5 days.
3. In case of proven deaths or accidents a refund may be granted at the General Managers discretion.
4. In case the guest arrives the day following arrival before check-out time (10:00 hours) the fee for No-Show for one night stay based on the room category booked shall apply subject to availability (if the unit is free) and the booking for the remaining time shall remain valid. In case the guest arrives the day following arrival after check-out time (10:00 hours) he/she shall lose the booking.
5. Should a guest be placed in a situation where they cannot meet their booking and it is out of their control for example a pandemic like COVID-19 restrictions then a full refund is given.
6. Where a guest has reserved a room using our non-refundable rate no refunds are given.
