Lakes Entrance is an easy self-drive from Melbourne (4 hours / 320 km along the Princes Highway A1). 

V/Line offers train services from Southern Cross Station to Bairnsdale with coach connections to Lakes (approx. 4 hrs 40 mins).

Lakes Entrance - Day 1: Arrival & discovery

Arrive via lush valleys or sweeping coastlines and descend into Lakes Entrance with views of the Gippsland Lakes stretching before you.
