East Gippsland acknowledges the Gunaikurnai, Monero and the Bidawel people as the Traditional Custodians of the land that encompasses East Gippsland Shire. We pay our respects to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people living in East Gippsland, their Elders past and present.

As the global impact of Coronavirus progresses, we look forward to seeing visitors in East Gippsland as soon as it is safe to do so. We also remain committed to looking after the health of our visitors, our tourism operators, and the wider community in East Gippsland.

From August 1, the Victorian Government stepped up restrictions. We ask that you read the update available at the Department of Health and Human Resources website regarding any travel to East Gippsland.
