Wattle Point is surrounded by National Parks and Game Reserves. You willl find wombats, echidnas, kangaroos, pelicans, sea eagles, black swans and rosellas which can be hand fed. These along with many other species can be found virtually on your doorstep. Dolphins can be seen in the waters opposite the cedar cabins chasing bream and tailor.

Description

Wattle Point on the Gippsland Lakes offers guests stay in secluded seperate 1-4 lodges which overlook the lake, or nestle in acres of pristine Banksia, Wattle and Eucalypt forest. The lodges are fully self contained with kitchen, gas or log fires, warm and comfortable lounge, dining and private BBQ areas.
Swim in the indoor solar heated pool. Relax in the luxury of the outdoor mineral spa. Borrow a pushbike to explore the nearby state reserves. Borrow a canoe, kayak or stand up paddle board. Fish, ski, windsurf, bushwalk or simply sit on your veranda and enjoy the beauty of the natural flora and fauna, watch the mood changes of the lake, sip on a local wine and relax.
