McMillans of Metung Coastal Resort, accredited by Quality Tourism Australia, stands as an award-winning destination, providing guests with an unrivalled and tranquil holiday experience. Established in 1980 by John and Kaye McMillan and officially opened in 1981 by iconic Australian singing legend Slim Dusty.

The resort is an idyllic holiday destination featuring meticulously designed modern and comfortable cottages and spa villas, providing the utmost privacy and serenity. Situated on an expansive eight-acre estate adorned with majestic eucalyptus trees and beautifully manicured grounds, the property is opposite the Metung Boardwalk, which graces the resort’s waterfront, providing a pleasant setting for fishing and captivating views of Bancroft Bay and its surroundings.

The games room is a favourite among children and adults, offering various entertainment options, including video games, air hockey, table tennis, board games, darts, and a pool table. Additionally, they provide a dedicated play equipment area for children and a full-size artificial grass tennis court complete with rackets and balls. During the warmer months, guests can enjoy our solar-heated swimming pool, providing a refreshing way to cool off. Alternatively, you can unwind in the dry sauna, which is well-known for its relaxation and detoxification benefits.

With its distinctive ambience, attention to detail, and unwavering commitment to exceptional customer service, McMillans of Metung Coastal Resort has earned recognition with nine Victorian and two Australian Tourism Awards.
