Nicholson River Winery was established in 1978 and is owned and operated by Juliet and Ken Eckersley.
They make small quantities of speciality wines intended to be enjoyed with food. Varieties include Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Syrah , Sangiovese and Merlot Cabernets. wines. The styles are more European than traditional Australian. Low preservative wines are a speciality.
The setting is picturesque with a commanding view of the Nicholson River and rolling hills.
Platters of local cheese and antipasto are available.
