Embers and Ales: The Long Night Feast

Eat & drink

Embers and Ales is a midwinter celebration of good food, dark beer, warm company and the simple joy of sharing a table together.

As the nights stretch out and the cold settles into the coast, gather around the fire at Sailors Grave for a Yule-inspired long-table feast with gardener, cook and TV presenter Paul West.

Across four courses, Paul will be cooking with East Gippsland and South Coast produce, matched with Sailors Grave craft beers. Guests will receive up to four drinks across the evening, with suggested pairings for each course, choose from Sailors Grave beers, Lightfoot wines, mulled wine and non-alcoholic drinks.

Please check the event website for details of the menu. As part of the evening, guests will be invited to take part in a simple winter ritual: write down something you’re ready to leave behind and cast it into the fire.

Come hungry. Rug up warm. Stay awhile.

Optional bus tickets and campsite bookings available.
