If you’re looking for individual, unique pieces of artwork, home décor or furniture that you won’t find anywhere else Brush in Hand Creations is sure to have something to entice you.

You will find upcycled pieces ranging from candlesticks to dining suites and even wall art. Mostly refurbished and ecofriendly in a variety of styles to suit any décor. You can even bring in your own pieces and have them custom refurbished to your style.

Description

Brush in Hand Creations gallery is an unexpected hidden gem tucked away just off the Great Alpine Road Sarsfield, 12 kms north of Bairnsdale. You will be surprised at the large variety of works on show. All pieces are the original creations of artist and furniture painter Elena Dickman.

There is a large range of original artworks in pastels and acrylics. Subjects range from local landscapes to buildings, animals, birds and more. You will also find very unique home décor items. These are mostly created using upcycled materials and include a wide selection of candlesticks, coat racks, lamps, coasters to name a few.

Elena specialises in refurbishing furniture. All styles of furniture are covered including Modern, Hampton’s Farmhouse, French Provincial, Retro, Boho and more. There are many pieces available for sale.

Elena also specialises in customising your own pieces of furniture. You can bring in your own tired pieces and Elena will give them a whole new look, which can be achieved with custom moulding and new hardware or just fresh paint. This is an ecofriendly alternative to buying new pieces, saving your old furniture from landfill and saving you money.

Elena Dickman is a well known award winning artist with over 30 years’ experience in fine art and furniture painting (Dip. Visual Art). Elena grew up in East Gippsland and is the owner/operator of Brush in Hand Creations where she works as a decorative furniture painter.
