ONE hour boat tours of Fur-Seal Colony.. Depart 8.30am, 10am or 11.30am if weather and tides are suitable. Water-Taxi to remote jetties.
Only 3 or 4 days a week. 2, 3 or maybe 4 passengers.
PICKUP LOCATION FOR MOST BOAT TOURS: Myer Street Jetty Lakes Entrance, near Ocean Beach Footbridge. Other options may be possible.
WATER-TAXI service:
Up to 4 persons. Water-taxi is a quick one-way trip to or from LAKES ENTRANCE to Ocean Entrance, Barrier Landing, Nyerimilang Jetty or North Arm Jetties . 2, 3 or 4 persons. Multiple trips for larger groups. Designed for access to remote locations; Jetties, houses, moorings, walking tracks and beaches. Operates on calm waterways within 10km of Lakes Entrance. $8-$25pp each way depending on distance.
EDUCATIONAL WILDLIFE TOURS:
Skipper Pete, a Certified ECO-Guide with Eco-Tourism Australis, former Coastal & Marine National Park Ranger and an experienced Wildlife Citizen Scientist who runs either 1 hour or 2 hour educative boat tours. Focus on harbour and Wildlife research. Designed for 2, 3 or maybe 4 persons (depending on weather). Best time is 8.30am, 10am, 11.30am or mid/late afternoon depending on the best tide.
Usually pickup at Myer Street Jetty. Operates only 3 or 4 days a week.
1 hour Tour: $15-$30pp or $60 per trip.
2 hour Tour: $34-$50pp or $100 per trip.

No on-board toilet however public toilets are near departure jetties.

All trips are run by Skipper Pete, who is an experienced Coxswain, a Certified Eco-Guide by Eco-Tourism Australia (Only Certified ECO-guide working in East Gippsland). Licensed Tour Operator (DEECA-Parks Victoria), qualified Tour Guide, former National Park Ranger (Coastal & Marine), member of Birdlife Australia and member of Wildlife Tourism Australia. Involved in several wildlife citizen science projects.
